Healing Touch Shiatsu is a unique healing modality
based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The philosophy of preventive
care, promotion of health through healthy life style, relaxation and
meditation, allows the body to heal itself and bring about harmony of body
mind spirit. A session of healing touch shiatsu provides the giver as well
as the receiver a unique environment to attune body mind and spirit in a
meditative fashion, beyond working on the body.
Immediate effects will be:
-
the feeling of relaxation and a sense of release
from a long standing tension, fatigue, or anxiety,
- pain relief, sometimes out of the ordinary, of
muscles and joints, and headaches,
- a sensation of lightness initiating a feeling of
balance and harmony,
- an indescribable feeling of having been made
well, as some receivers describe, as feeling wonderful, but cannot
describe.
* Qi Gong is a Chinese exercise
very much similar to Tai Chi. It has been practiced in China for thousands
of years for health and vitality. It involves slow meditative movements,
breathing, and visualization to help the free flow of energy or the life
force throughout the body. It is recommended as part of a life style to
manage stress, increase immunity and prevent disease. It is known to
brighten your mood, deepen sleep, improve balance, eases aches and pains,
improves respiratory problems, and gives a sense of vitality and sense of
well being.* QI GONG CHILDREN/ADULT CLASS
